In partnership with Samet Corporation, this project included large-scale concrete work for a new 8-story student housing development at SC State University, including pours for spread footings, perimeter walls, stairwells, the elevator pit, and freestanding concrete core walls forming the elevator shaft.

Scope also included a major foundation pour featuring 15 spread footings, perimeter footings, and reinforced pier systems with rebar cages, anchor bolts, and starter bars.

We are thrilled to be the concrete services partner supporting Grace Construction to build this new hotel in the heart of downtown Knoxville.

This project included over 1,000 tons of reinforcing steel installed, 4,000 cubic yards of concrete poured, elevated cast-in-place decks, radius walls, straight walls

For the radius walls, our team utilized the MEVA Adjustable Radius (MAR) formwork system, a customizable solution specifically designed for water and wastewater treatment structures requiring precision curved geometry.

The MAR system arrived on site in pre-assembled units with the radius already calibrated, allowing our crews to quickly offload, pick, and set panels directly into position with the crane. Compared to traditional radius forming systems that often require hundreds of loose components and extensive field assembly, this approach significantly reduced setup time, labor requirements, and overall installation complexity.
The ability to easily adjust radius settings between pours also provides ongoing efficiency as work advances around the structure.

We also utilized MEVA Formwork Systems 32 shoring tower system. This formwork system delivers both strength and efficiency — featuring an aluminum frame with a load capacity of 32 kips (142 kN) while weighing just 49 lbs per frame. Its foldable design allows for easy relocation without dismantling the entire unit, improving safety, productivity, and cycle time on site.

In partnership with Block Companies, we are providing large scale concrete solutions for this new development in Chattanooga, TN. Our team is leveraging a combination of formwork systems to drive efficiency and quality. The wall crew is utilizing Doka Frami for the cores, hand-setting steel ply for the shear walls, and MevaLite for the columns—allowing for flexibility and precision across multiple scopes.

We’re also deploying the PERI PD5 hybrid 10K shoring system, which has proven to be extremely lightweight and efficient, helping our crews maintain productivity while ensuring a safe working environment.
